Kaleidosaver

Introduction

Although simple in scope, being primarily based on the code of Zach Whalen’s ‘Move and Bounce’ sketch, the unique effect created as a result of using a 3D WEB-GL shapes are striking. I created three variations of this sketch, with each using a different shape.

Variation 1: Kaleidosaver (Torus, x and y axis)

Variation 2: Kaleidosaver (Cone, x and y axis)

Variation 3: Kaleidosaver (Box, x, y, and z axis)

To gain more information on the specific code associated the Kaleidosaver, visit my OpenProcessing page or the Github page for Kaleidosaver

Iterations and Improvements

  • Added iteration of Kaleidosaver that detects x, y, and z axis
    • Variation 3 (box WEB-GL)
  • Added descriptions (both on Open Processing and in code)
